LETTER TO MY WIFE ON OUR 8TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!
My Dearest Duchess,
Eight years. Yes, Eight 'goddam' years baby.
It feels like a lifetime, yet it also feels like yesterday when we took that leap of faith, promising each other a future filled with love and hope. Looking back on everything we’ve shared, I can’t help but marvel at the incredible journey we’ve had together. From the quiet moments to the loud, joyous chaos of family life, every chapter of our story has been more beautiful than I ever could have imagined.
When I think of what we’ve built, I think of our children—our little miracles who remind me every day of the love that started it all. Watching you become a mother, seeing the way you nurture and guide our kids with such tenderness and strength, fills me with an indescribable sense of pride and awe. Our family, our little world, is everything to me, and it’s all because of you—the love you give, the sacrifices you’ve made, and the endless joy you bring to our lives.
When we started out, we had dreams, yes, but we didn’t know exactly how they would unfold. What we lacked in material things, we made up for in hope, determination, and faith in each other. Now, as I look at where we are today, I can’t help but marvel at how far we’ve come. From humble beginnings, we’ve truly moved from grass to grace. Every step, every hardship, every victory has been worth it, and the beauty of our life together is a testament to our strength and resilience.
The other day, we counted the years right from the first anniversary of our meeting in 2014, it has been nothing but progress. And here's 2024 that is no different. Oh wow!
But more than just the past, I think of the future—of all the untold chapters waiting to be written, all the dreams still yet to come true. I see us growing even stronger, continuing to rise together, hand in hand, through whatever life brings our way. I know that the best is still ahead of us, and I am filled with excitement for the years to come. The future we will build, the places we’ll go, and the memories we’ll create—it all seems so bright when I imagine it with you by my side.
On this special day, our 8th anniversary, I want to thank you. Thank you for being my partner, my love, my best friend, and the incredible mother of our children. Thank you for believing in us, for never giving up, and for loving me with all your heart. I am beyond blessed to walk through life with you.
