Parents who wonder where the younger generation is going should remember where it came from.
A wit once said that we should "train up a child in the way he should go and go there ourselves once in a while.'' Obviously, that's a good and sound advice.
It has been rightly observed that we teach people what we know, but we reproduce what we are. It is true that people might not always believe everything we say, but they will believe everything we do.

Whether you are a parent, educator, politician, employer, manager, etc., keep in mind that your most effective and important job is the growth, development, and inspiration you can pass on to others, particularly those in your direct charge. Please don't fail while at it.
