There are individuals who are prone to excessive verbosity, unwittingly laying bare their plans and aspirations to adversaries, oblivious to the fact that some of their purported friends are actually wolves in sheep's clothing.
The truth is that one need not invariably partake in every discourse, as doing so may result in self-sabotage.
Again, it is imperative to recognize that not everyone is vested in your designs, advancements, or triumphs.
Therefore, it is prudent to safeguard such information.
While it is essential to articulate in order to be heard, there are instances when silence garners greater appreciation. Thus, it is crucial to exercise caution in flaunting one's achievements.
Exercising modesty may initially render one inconspicuous, but ultimately commands respect. At times, it is imperative to remain reticent and allow others to hold sway. I mean, stay silent and let others do the talk.
By attentively listening, one can glean profound insights into an individual. This underscores the divine wisdom behind the bestowment of two ears and a solitary mouth.
My words for you this week is to recognize that YOU NEED NOT ALWAYS VOCIFEROUSLY DEFEND YOURSELF. Your silence conveys that you harbor more profound ruminations.
Remember, talk is commonplace, but silence is truly invaluable.
