Letter To My Son On His 8th Birthday By Kingsmith Akinwale

My Dear Kingmith Jr.,

Happy 8th Birthday, my champion!

Today, as we celebrate you, my heart is filled with so much joy, pride, and gratitude. Eight years ago, you practically dropped into my hands lives and changed everything in the most beautiful way. From that very first moment, you became a light in our world—and every day since then, that light has only grown brighter.

You are such a brilliant and thoughtful boy. Your wisdom often amazes me, and the way you see the world reminds me that greatness doesn’t come from age, but from a pure and curious heart. You ask meaningful questions, you think deeply, and you care genuinely—and those are rare and powerful qualities.

Watching you grow has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives. You are growing not just in age, but in kindness, courage, and understanding. You show love so freely, and you bring happiness to everyone around you—your family, your friends, and even those who meet you for the first time. You are truly a blessing, not just to us as your parents, but to everyone whose life you touch.

We are so grateful to have you as our son. You have brought laughter into our home, strength into our hearts, and meaning into our journey as parents. You remind us every day of what truly matters.

As you turn eight today, I want you to know this: your future is bright, and the world is waiting for all the wonderful things you will do. Keep being curious, keep being kind, keep believing in yourself, and never be afraid to shine. We will always be here for you—guiding you, supporting you, and loving you unconditionally.

Thank you for being the incredible boy that you are.

Happy Birthday once again, my son. We love you more than words can ever express.

With all my love from the very first day,

Your Proud Dad,

Kingsmith Snr.(Duuu)
