QUITTING SMOKING.

Several people want to quit smoking but they find it very difficult to make the decision. Truely, the decision is not an easy one to make but i tell you,with your mind made up,it is possible.
To make things easier for yourself, try having some distractions,ready for cravings and think of some personal stragegies to help in stressful situations.
W...hy not write an action list of your reasons why you want to quit? Use it as your inspiration and never think you will put on weight when you quit.
Below are tips i recommend in quitting smoking.
* Notice when and why you smoke. Try to find the things in your daily life that you often do while smoking.
* Set a date for quitting. If possible have a friend quit smoking with you.
* Smoke only in certain places, such as outdoors.
* When you want a cigarette,wait a few minutes.Try to think of something to do intead of smoking; you might chew gum or drink a glass of water.
* Switch to a brand of cigarette that you don't like.
* Get rid of all your cigarettes. Put away your astrays.
* Carry other things to put in your mouth,such as gum,hand candy,or a tooth pick.
* Reward yourself at the end of the day for not smoking.
Craving only last less than 5 minute on average.To help distract yourself,try sipping a drink slowly until the craving is over.
When all this tips above is been put in place and tried, am very sure that the outcome will be positive.
Don't feel bad or guilty if you slip. Keep going,you can do it! Yes you can!
