In between birth and death is your life. We all don't have any life before or after these and since we now have the opportunity to live, we must not outwork our life on activities that will take our joy and happiness away from the present moment for better life.
There is no better life ahead of time which we now live in.
Now must not be traded for tomorrow when it comes to your freedom and happiness.

It's simply because the tomorrow isn't known yet, so enjoy NOW which is today. That is why it is called the 'present'.
